LastShort
Privacy Policy
This page explains what the LastShort Chrome extension stores, why it needs that information, and how you can control it.
Effective June 12, 2026
Information LastShort stores
LastShort stores your extension settings locally in Chrome extension storage. This can include your daily Shorts limit, scheduled limits, focus mode status, whitelisted channels, recently counted Shorts IDs, and the latest block state used to show the extension's controls.
If you sign in for Pro, LastShort uses your email address and account ID to manage access. Billing status is stored so the extension can tell whether Pro features are active.
How the extension uses YouTube pages
LastShort runs on YouTube pages so it can detect Shorts, count Shorts against your limits, hide Shorts entry points during Focus Mode, and show blocking controls when a limit is reached.
LastShort does not sell your data and does not collect your general browsing history. The extension is designed to work only on YouTube and the services needed for account and billing features.
Payments and service providers
Payments are handled by Stripe. LastShort does not store full payment card numbers.
Account and entitlement data may be processed with Supabase so sign-in and Pro access can work across extension sessions.
Your choices
You can change or delete locally stored limits and settings by using the extension controls or uninstalling the extension from Chrome.
You can sign out of your LastShort account from the extension. For privacy questions or account requests, email privacy@lastshort.com.
